What is this?
This is the Hanvon GoGoBird Eagle. It’s a radio controlled ornithopter, which means it has wings that flap like a bird to propel itself through the air. It comes as a Ready-To-Fly package, with minimal assembly required.

I confess, I first thought the GoGo Bird would be terrible. It looks like a cheap plastic kite with a tiny motor. It is a flapping kite with a tiny motor, but it's also pretty great. It's possibly the most fun you're going to have with a $40 drone. It can be tricky to fly at first—the controller is small and one-handed, which takes some time to master. But once you get the hang of it, your flapping wannabe bird is surprisingly maneuverable.

So far, I've only flown mine in the house. It's fun once you get the hang of it, but since it flies like a real bird, it isn't anywhere near as responsive as when I fly my micro quads in the house. I will hopefully get out to the park to fly it this weekend....
